Ten modern ambulances were delivered to the pediatric departments of city and etrap hospitals in Mary velayat. Specialized transport was allocated to the region from the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assisting Children in Need of Guardianship.
According to the State News Agency of Turkmenistan, the ceremony of presenting the new equipment took place today with the participation of the head of state at the site of the diagnostic and treatment center in the city of Mary.
Having handed over to the Minister of Health and Medical Industry the keys to new special vehicles equipped with all the necessary equipment, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stressed that the issues of strengthening the health of the people, and, especially, young Turkmen citizens, will continue to be constantly in the center of attention of the state.
On behalf of all healthcare workers, the nation's leader was expressed sincere gratitude for caring for the young generation and systematic modernization of the material and technical base of domestic medicine.
Having wished the doctors success in their responsible and noble work, the head of state left the scene.
