"Today, the development of Chinese-Turkmen strategic partnership relations is going through the best period in its history". This is stated in the telegram of the President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov published today in the newspaper "Neutral Turkmenistan", in which the head of the PRC expressed gratitude for the congratulatory letter on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Communist Party of China.
"After the coronavirus infection outbreak, the two countries jointly endured disasters and provided assistance to each other," the Chinese leader recalls.
The telegram emphasizes that " despite the difficult situation in the world, cooperation in the high-quality joint implementation of the Belt and Road initiative has developed dynamically, in which fruitful results were achieved, consequently bringing real benefits to the peoples of the two countries".
The telegram of the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China also states that "in recent years, the Communist Party has maintained close contacts with political parties of Turkmenistan in various formats".
"I hope that the parties of China and Turkmenistan will continue to make joint efforts in the active implementation of the reached important agreements, to bring wisdom and strength to the further development of bilateral relations," Xi Jinping underlined.
