The chess player Allayar Shirliev once again demonstrated his unique abilities by playing 40 blindly games. The participants of the competition were the chess players of the sports club “Bagtyyarlyk” sports club.

As a result of the game, Shirliev won 31 games, drew 8 games, lost 1 game to the master of sports Shahruh Turaev.

Earlier we reported that Allayar Shirliev, a member of the Chess Club of the capital's sports complex “Bagtyyarlyk”, has already fought blindly chess on 25, and subsequently 31 boards. This time, having conducted a session of “blind” games on 40 boards, Allayar proved that there is no limit to the capabilities of the human brain. In this sporting achievement, he approached the world record set by the American grandmaster Timur Gareev in 2016 - 48 games. This record entered the Guinness Book of Records.

Over the next two to three months, Allayar plans to play 50 blindfold games and set a new world record. After that, he intends to enter into a blindfold duel with the reigning world champion Magnus Karlson from Norway and Timur Gareev on 30 boards.

Recall that in February of this year, Allayar Shirliev, a student of the Honored Coach of Turkmenistan, International Arbiter and Head of the Chess Club Shohrat Muratkuliev, won 43 moves over Azerbaijani grandmaster, world champion in rapid and blitz

Shahriyar Mammadyarov in an online tournament organized by the Turkish Chess Federation.
