In Ashgabat, earthworks have been completed on the construction of a complex of mudflow protection structures, which is being carried out by the branch of the “Vozrozhdenie” company in Turkmenistan.

At this time, the company's specialists have started concrete work, reports “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”.

It is necessary to create a system of canals and pipelines (including the device of selenium accumulators, pumping stations, transfer, filtration and head structures), to reconstruct the existing canal, to complete road works and the device of power supply.

Recall that in March last year, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed a decree allowing the Ashgabat hyakimlik to conclude an agreement with the Russian Joint Stock Company “Production Association “Vozrozhdenie” for the design and construction of a complex of anti-mudflow structures in the south of Ashgabat with the improvement of the adjacent territory. The expected completion date of the complex is September 2022.

The project, proposed by the “Vozrozhdenie” company, provides for the construction of selenium ponds on the main mudflow channels with a displacement of 1 to 6 million cubic meters, from where water will be discharged through a special filtering pumping station into the canals, and then outside the city.

This structure will completely cut off any mudflow rainwater coming from the mountains, thereby protecting the city from mudflow masses.

The project was developed jointly with one of the largest and oldest design institutes in Russia – “Sevkavgiprovodhoz”.

The production capacity of the company is constantly increasing. Today the company has its own fleet of modern road-building and motor transport equipment of the world's leading brands in Turkmenistan, which numbers about 200 units. During the excavation work on the southern side of the city, new equipment was also used for the company, namely a non-self-propelled (trailed) “Caterpillar” scraper, which allows self-removal of the soil layer with self-loading and self-unloading functions.
