The first Italian gelateria “Dolce Mia” opened in Ashgabat

Turkmen citizens can now taste the famous Italian cold desserts. Recently, the first gelateria “Dolce Mia” was opened at the “Berkarar” Shopping and Entertainment Center.

The assortment of the new cafe includes 22 different flavors of gelatos and sorbets. They are prepared in Turkmenistan by specialists who have completed a full training course in Italy. The production itself, or rather all the ingredients, recipes and equipment, are Italian.

Unlike traditional ice cream, gelato is a denser dessert, since much less air gets into it during the whipping process. In Italy, gelato is made from whole milk without adding cream. At the same time, the percentage of milk fat in it is about 3.8 percent. From the name of this cold dessert comes the name of the institution in which it is made and served. In the menu of Ashgabat gelateria you can find both classic and everyone's favorite flavors of ice cream - chocolate, nutty, caramel, and unusual - Vanilla Black (black with vanilla), Unicorn (unicorn mix), Azzuro Bubbly (chewing gum) and many others.

The sorbet contains no milk at all. It is made exclusively on the basis of fruit puree. This dessert improves digestion and refreshes the taste buds. By the way, the date of “birth” of this delicacy is the 7th century BC. At “Dolce Mia” you can taste Arancio Rosso (red orange), Fragola (strawberry), Melone (melon), Lampone (raspberries), Mango (mango), Kiwi (kiwi) and Lemon (lemon).

The assortment also includes other desserts and drinks, such as classic Italian coffee, or milkshakes and lemonades that will delight children, as well as the famous “affogato” drink, which is made on the basis of Italian ice cream and hot espresso.

For those who cannot decide on the order of a dessert, in gelateria there is an opportunity to taste and choose the taste of gelato and sorbet.

In addition, there is a delivery service in Ashgabat.

Gelateria in the “Berkarar” shopping and entertainment center is still the only place where you can try gelato and sorbet.
