President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed a number of new laws today, which were adopted on March 13 by the Mejlis of Turkmenistan.
The head of state signed the Laws:
- On approval and enforcement of the new edition of the Arbitration Procedure Code of Turkmenistan;
- On the establishment of the honorary title of Turkmenistan “Türkmenistanyň halk itşynasy” (“People's dog breeder of Turkmenistan”) and “On the establishment of the honorary title of Turkmenistan“ Türkmenistanyň at gazanan itşynasy ” (“Honored dog breeder of Turkmenistan”);
- On the prevention and elimination of emergencies in the new edition;
- On countering the legalization of proceeds from crime, the financing of terrorism and the financing of the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction in a new edition;
- On the prevention of infectious diseases;
- Renewable energy sources;
- On amendments and additions to the Code of Administrative Offenses of Turkmenistan;
- On amendments and additions to some legislative acts of Turkmenistan;
- On amendments and additions to the Law of Turkmenistan “On the Border Troops of Turkmenistan”;
- On amendments and additions to the Law of Turkmenistan “On Enterprises”;
- On amendments and additions to the Law of Turkmenistan “On State Pension Insurance”;
- On Amendments to the Code of Turkmenistan on Social Protection of the Population;
- On amendments to the Family Code of Turkmenistan;
- On amendments and additions to the Law of Turkmenistan “On Culture”;
- On amendments and additions to the Law of Turkmenistan “On the State Land Cadaster”;
- On amendments and additions to the Law of Turkmenistan “On horse breeding and equestrian sports”;
- On making additions and changes to the Law of Turkmenistan “On the diplomatic service”;
- On amendments to some legislative acts of Turkmenistan;
- On amendments and additions to some legislative acts of Turkmenistan.
The laws of Turkmenistan signed by the head of state will be published in the press, the “Vatan” news program of the Turkmen television reported.
