Representatives of Turkmenistan are invited to become mentors of the CA Youth Leadership Academy

The Civil Society Support Program in Central Asia is announcing a call for applications for civil society professionals wishing to mentor members of the Youth Leadership Academy (CAYLA).

Mentoring includes a minimum of one hour per week from March to September 2021, during which mentors are expected to provide helpful tools, advice and other guidance on career guidance that paternalized can use in their careers in the non-profit sector and contribute to better society.

Requirements for mentors:

  • At least five years of experience working in non-profit organizations in Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan or Uzbekistan, preferably with youth groups or organizations with a youth mission;
  • Knowledge of the Russian language and at least one language of Central Asia (Kazakh, Turkmen or Uzbek);
  • Knowledge of English is a plus;
  • Be a resident of Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan or Uzbekistan.
