In honor of the 500th anniversary of the beginning of the reign of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent tenth Sultan of the Ottoman Empire, Turkish historians, writers and statesmen have launched a virtual exhibition “The era of Sultan Suleiman Qanuni”. The virtual exhibition presents selected works from the libraries “Suleymaniye”, “Kopruli”, “Atif Efendi”, “Nuruosmaniye” and “Ragip Pasha”.
They reflect the great victories of the Sultan, his poems, written under the pseudonym “Muhibbi”, and his 46-year reign.
The guests of the exhibition will have the opportunity to see 46 manuscripts reflecting the 46-year reign of the great sultan of the Ottoman state - Soltan Suleiman Qanuni and the art of his time.
