Yesterday Swedish Air Forces organized eye-catching show during which pilots made a flight on 14 combat planes Jas-39 Gripen with the speed nearly 500 km per hour and within an hour and twenty minutes kept the figure of spruce in the sky.
Such type of shows is conducted by Air Forces of the country every year with the New Year approaching. John Lindman, Commander of the Skaraborg Air Force Liaison Office, marked that defensive movement is known by its annual New Year flights:
“New Years is soon. For the occasion, we shaped the image of a spruce over the blue sky with 14 Jas-39 Flying Fighters. On the one hand, it is a sign of the approaching New Year, and on the other, it is an excellent training for pilots.”
