As informs “Turkmenistan: Golden age” this year winter onions were planted in Dashoguz velayat for the first time.
For planting on thousand hectares were given: 500 ha in “Nowbahor” dayhan association, etrap named after S.A.Niyazov, and 400 ha in “N.Andalyp” and “Shavat” dayhan association and in some private structures in etrap named after Gurbansolan-eje.
As a planting material adapted to the soil and climatic conditions of the region, characterized by high winter hardiness and disease resistance, early ripening breeds were selected.
