Necessities, first, food must be sold to the population at affordable prices. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stated this at a working meeting on strengthening food security on Thursday.
The head of state addressed the Minister of trade and foreign economic relations Orazmyrat Gurbannazarov with an order to provide customers with a variety of fresh food products produced in the country through the retail network on a daily basis. At the same time, their prices should be monitored regularly.
"Along with sufficient supply of food to domestic markets, regular monitoring should be carried out to maintain stable prices," Berdimuhamedov said.
The President of Turkmenistan stressed that taking into account the approach of the 25th anniversary of neutrality, as well as the New Year, it is necessary to start relevant preparations related to food products today.
Speaking about this, the head of state gave instructions to expand e-Commerce and services for the delivery of goods to the population through the widespread introduction of the digital system.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also ordered daily monitoring of strict compliance with sanitary standards and trade rules in markets and stores in all parts of the country, the state news Agency of Turkmenistan reported.
