Turkmenistan continues to work on organizing the return of its citizens abroad. According to the government's decision, in the coming days, Turkmen citizens who were stranded in Georgia, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan due to the termination of air traffic due to the coronavirus pandemic will be returned to their Homeland by land.

On October 30, 100, citizens of Turkmenistan will return by bus from Kazakhstan through the Temirbaba-Garabogaz checkpoint. The return of compatriots to their Homeland will be organized By the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Kazakhstan and the Consulate General of the country in Aktau. Immediately after crossing the border, they will be quarantined for two weeks, according to the international magazine "Atavatan Turkmenistan".

On November 2, an export flight from Kyrgyzstan will be carried out. The plane with 16 citizens of Turkmenistan and 2 citizens of Afghanistan who have a residence permit in our country will fly from Bishkek airport to Tashkent by Uzbekistan Airways. Then 18 people will take a bus from Tashkent to the border point "Alat-Farap", where they will cross the border of Turkmenistan. After arriving at their Home country, they will necessarily undergo a two-week quarantine in the auxiliary building of the road transport Department of the Lebap velayat administration, Sputnik news Agency notes.

Turkmen citizens stranded in Georgia due to the pandemic will be returned by ferry in October-November. This group of compatriots will first get to Azerbaijan by bus, and then wait for the arrival of the ferry from Turkmenistan. The ferry will depart from Turkmenbashi to the Azerbaijani port of Alat, where it will take on Board 50 Turkmen citizens. They will also have to undergo a two-week quarantine when they arrive at their Home country.

Earlier, the government of Turkmenistan organized the export of citizens from Turkey, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, India, Kazakhstan and the European Union.
In the near future, a Charter flight will be organized for the return of Turkmen students from the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation.
