Issues related to ensuring food abundance in the country, the socio-economic development of the regions and the capital, the progress of seasonal agricultural work, as well as preparations for the holidays were submitted for consideration at the next working meeting, which was held today via digital video link by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
The head of state was the first to call the hyakim of the city of Ashgabat Ya. Gylyjov for a digital video link. The head of the capital administration reported on the implementation of instructions, in particular, the work being carried out these days to increase the pace of construction at facilities planned for commissioning on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Turkmenistan's neutrality.
As it was noted, design works are currently being carried out along highways, in parks and squares of the main city of the country, in order to improve the territories of the capital's etraps, coordinated activities of relevant services have been established. Great importance is attached to the issues of increasing the pace and ensuring a high level of quality of construction at all facilities being built in Ashgabat, as well as the widespread use of modern building materials and technologies.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov instructed to keep under constant control the issues of carrying out works in the city to maintain cleanliness and improve the territories adjacent to buildings.
Pointing out the importance of observing the schedules and timely completion of construction of various objects intended for commissioning on the occasion of significant dates, as well as combining the traditions of national architecture and modern trends in world urban development, the head of state addressed specific instructions to the hyakim.
As the President of Turkmenistan noted, the program of social and economic development of Ashgabat is aimed at a comprehensive solution of the issues raised on the basis of innovations and far-sighted approaches, using advanced developments and the best world experience.
Then the meeting heard the report of Akhal velayat Hyakim Ya. Gurbanov. At the same time, head of state Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov called the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers in charge of the agro-industrial complex E. Orazgeldiev for a direct video link.
Hyakim reported on the situation in the region, focusing on the measures taken to increase the pace of seasonal agricultural work. The President of Turkmenistan was informed about the work on the use of agricultural machinery, organized cotton harvesting and transportation of the harvested crop to receiving points. As noted, the tenants-cotton growers work hard to fully and without loss to collect the entire crop grown.
Winter wheat is sown in accordance with agricultural standards. Hyakim reported on the use of equipment and aggregates during the sowing season, their timely maintenance, and the work on caring for friendly seedlings already obtained in previously sown wheat fields.
The sowing of winter onions is nearing completion in the agricultural areas of the velayat, and the harvesting of other vegetable crops is continuing. At the same time, great importance is attached to compliance with agro technical requirements.
In addition, it was reported on the state of Affairs at the construction sites of the velayat. First of all, this applies to objects for various purposes, the opening of which is timed to the 25th anniversary of neutrality.

As it was emphasized, it is important to process the raw cotton obtained at the cleaning plants in a high-quality way. In addition, every effort should be made in the velayat to get a high yield of autumn potatoes, vegetables and other agricultural crops.
The head of state also focused on the priorities of the socio-economic development of the Akhal velayat, instructing to ensure constant monitoring of the timely completion of all objects being built in the region and preparation for the worthy celebration of the anniversary of the neutral status of the country.
Then the hyakim of the Balkan velayat T. Atakhalliyev reported on the situation in the Western region of the country, in Particular, on the work carried out for the organized implementation of seasonal agricultural campaigns.
As it was noted, coordinated activities of the relevant structures are provided in order to harvest "white gold" without losses, increase the volume of cotton collected by combines and, in General, increase the pace of the harvesting season. Along with this, the uninterrupted operation of equipment for the transportation of crops, cotton gins and receiving points is monitored.
Hyakim also reported on the accelerated sowing of winter wheat, potatoes, sugar beets, vegetables and other crops. After hearing the report, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stressed that timely and high-quality seasonal agricultural work is an important requirement of the time. Asking about the progress of construction of facilities in the velayat, including those that will be put into operation on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the country's neutrality, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stressed that all of them should be put into operation on time and meet high quality.
Workshop on digital video continued with the report of Dashoguz velayat Hakim N. Nazarmyradov, which reported on the work conducted in the cotton areas of the province and sowing winter wheat. At the same time, comprehensive activities are being carried out in order to successfully complete the tasks arising from the National rural program. Special attention is paid to preparations for the celebration of the day of neutrality of Turkmenistan.
Noting the importance attached to the development of the domestic agro-industrial complex in the light of the tasks of ensuring food abundance and steadily increasing the power of the country's economy, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov ordered to make every effort to successfully complete the harvesting season.

Further hyakim of Mary velayat D. Annaberdiev reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural campaigns in the region, including increasing the pace of cotton harvesting, measures for timely and organized sowing of winter wheat, care for sugar beet, autumn potatoes and other agricultural crops.

In this regard, the President of Turkmenistan drew attention to the compliance of the work carried out in the cotton industry with modern requirements and the importance of using innovative methods to increase the yield of cotton.
