Today, residents of Turkmenistan began to receive mass SMS messages from the Ministry of Health Care and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan with a recommendation to wear protective masks.
"Hormaltly adamlar! Saglygyňyzy berkitmek üçin, agyz-burun örtügi dakynmak, köpçülik ýerde aralygy 2 metr saklamak, şahsy gigiýenanyň talaplaryny berjaý etmek maslahat berilýär. TSG we DSG" — said in an SMS message in the Turkmen language.
Literal translation: "Dear peoples! To promote health, it is recommended to wear a protective mask, keep a distance of 2 meters in public places, and observe personal hygiene requirements."
In order to prevent infectious diseases, a number of temporary restrictions have been imposed in Turkmenistan: foreign air traffic, trains and intercity buses, mosques, public catering establishments and shopping markets have been suspended.
