Deputy foreign Ministers Berdiniyaz Myatiev and Adel Siraj Saleh discussed promising areas of development of relations between Turkmenistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia via videoconference today.
It was noted that regular meetings at various levels contribute to enhancing mutually beneficial cooperation in all areas. In this context, they expressed their mutual readiness to expand the bilateral dialogue and organize visits of the two countries ' delegations.
The diplomats discussed the possibilities of expanding the political and diplomatic dialogue and strengthening inter-parliamentary ties. Trade and economic ties and investments are among the most important areas of Turkmen-Saudi business relations. In this context, the parties discussed issues of diversification of export components of the Turkmen-Saudi cooperation.
The diplomats expressed interest in developing contacts in the fields of culture, education, science, sports and tourism. At the same time, they stressed the need to continue holding mutual Days of culture as the current epidemiological situation in the world normalizes, the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.
Last month, Turkmenistan and Saudi Arabia held consultations at the level of foreign Ministers.
