The United Nations Population Fund in Turkmenistan (UNFPA) has supplied the center for public health and nutrition of the Ministry of health and medical industry of Turkmenistan with 300 sprayers intended for use in sanitary and preventive purposes. This is reported in the social networks of the UNFPA.
The delivery was carried out in the framework of joint cooperation between the UN and the Ministry of health and medical industry of Turkmenistan at the request of the Ministry. This cooperation is outlined in the national plan for preparedness and response to acute infectious diseases.
The UNFPA also assists the Ministry in implementing clinical guidelines for childbirth to prevent the spread of infectious diseases.
