“KAMAZ” increased exports to the CIS countries

In January-June 2020, the Russian company “KAMAZ” increased exports to the CIS countries and reduced deliveries to foreign countries, “Finmarket” reports.

According to the company's report for the second quarter of 2020, the total export of cars, Assembly sets of parts and Assembly kits in January-June amounted to 1,894 thousand units of equipment, which is 37.2% higher than the same period last year. Export growth was driven by an increase in deliveries to the CIS to 1,579 thousand units of equipment (+71.6%). However, shipments to non-CIS countries in January-June decreased to 315 units against 460 a year earlier (-31.5%).

“KAMAZ” delivered 682 vehicles to Turkmenistan in the first half of 2020. It is planned that in 2021, “KAMAZ” will deliver another 400 units of equipment to Turkmenistan.

In January-June 2020, the company exported 682 units (19 cars and 663 SKD) to Kazakhstan. In Uzbekistan, the company continues the Assembly of the Assembly kits on the capacity of the company "UzAvtoTreyler".

In the first half of 2020, the Russian auto giant supplied equipment to Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus and Kyrgyzstan. Vietnam, the Philippines, Indonesia, Mongolia, as well as countries in Africa, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Latin America became the main markets for sales among non-CIS countries.

Recall that in Ashgabat there is a trade and training and service center "KAMAZ", where full maintenance of cars is performed. It also trains Turkmen specialists who study the features of the device, operation, diagnostics and maintenance of new equipment.

The products of the Kama automobile plant are well known in our country. Trucks, cranes, gas stations and other special equipment from the Republic of Tatarstan (Russia) have proven themselves in Turkmenistan from the best side. It is reliable in operation and is used in almost all major construction sites in the country. The company's development engineers improve vehicle models by adapting them to local climatic conditions.
