Hundreds of tons of fruit and vegetable products are delivered daily to the counters of numerous markets, specialized stores, small and large retail outlets in cities and towns of the Mary velayat, the “Neutral Turkmenistan” newspaper reports.
According to the velayat statistics Department, more than 100,000 tons of vegetables, about 75,000 tons of potatoes, almost 16,000 tons of fruit and berry products, and 42,000 tons of melons have been produced in the Murgab valley since the beginning of the year.
Almost 3,500 tons of grapes were collected from velayat grape plantations.
