Turkmen enterprise "Ruhubelent" started processing of fruit and vegetable crops

“Ruhubelent” closed joint-stock company of the food industry Department of the Ministry of agriculture and environmental protection of Turkmenistan has started processing fruits and vegetables, the “Neutral Turkmenistan” newspaper reports.

This is the largest state-owned enterprise in the country, founded in 2011, specializes in the production of ketchup and tomato paste, has its own areas for planting tomatoes and accepts the grown crop from the tenants of the Dashoguz, Akhal and Mary velayats. Now the harvest is being completed here and the processing of the crop is in an active phase. the reception of raw materials will resume by the fall and continue until October, when the autumn arrival of tomatoes from Dashoguz vegetable growers is expected.

The company prefers such tomato varieties as "Benito", "Polbig", "Polfast" and others. These are productive hybrid Dutch varieties adapted to the soil and climate conditions of our country, which allows for a long period of fruiting. At the enterprise, special emphasis is placed on cultivating the "igranda" variety, whose fleshy fruits are ideal for the production of tomato paste. This variety is preferred both in the factory areas and in the Dashoguz velayat, where the main supplier farms are concentrated.

The production capacity of the plant allows processing several hundred tons of tomatoes every day. In addition to processing tomatoes, “Ruhubelent” also produces juices in bottles of seven types in containers with a capacity of 500 and 700 ml, as well as marinades. Customers have long been familiar with the brand of this plant "Galkynysh", last year a new one appeared – "Rowana" along with the release of three new types of natural juices and a drink from rosehip. The company also produces natural assorted compotes "Ulker" and "Diyar" from plums, apples and apricots, which are based on environmentally friendly raw materials - fruits grown by local farmers.
