Vladimir region (Russia) is interested in developing trade and economic ties with Turkmenistan

Vladimir region's interest in trade and economic cooperation with Turkmenistan was reflected in a recent consultation teleconference with Russian trade representative in Turkmenistan Alexander Yelizarov. This is reported by the official website of the administration of the Vladimir region.

The meeting was attended by the heads of the departments of economic Development- Denis Davydov and Agriculture- Konstantin Demidov, representatives of the export support Center of the 33rd region and a number of Vladimir companies. 

Recently, the source notes, the Vladimir region has been increasing its interaction with Turkmen partners, exporting about 30 types of goods to our country, such as chocolate and confectionery products, pasta, dumplings, as well as silicones, electric motors and generators. Turkmenistan mainly supplies textiles and plastics.

At this stage, the region plans to expand cooperation. Among the best prospects for export were products such as plywood and lumber, doors and their structural elements, as well as refrigeration equipment, canned food and dyes for the textile industry.

In turn, Alexander Yelizarov noted that textiles, fruit and vegetable products, and mineral fertilizers can be supplied from Turkmenistan to the region.
