During the extended session of the Government, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov focused the participants ' attention on the priorities of the upcoming work.

Maintaining economic and financial stability in the country, increasing the level of employment of the population, and accelerating reforms in the banking system were identified as priority tasks. At the same time, the importance of increasing the volume of foreign direct investment, increasing the export potential and ensuring the flow of foreign exchange funds was noted.

Strengthening competitiveness in the industrial sector and developing entrepreneurship are also promising areas. At present, the implementation of digital technologies is a priority for all managers.

The need to strengthen efforts to reduce the state's share in the national economy and expand the share of the private sector in it was stressed.

The list of objects subject to privatization should include individual state-owned enterprises in the energy, transport and communication industries, as well as numerous infrastructure and other objects. The main tools of this process should be the placement of shares, the organization of the stock market and competitive bidding.

Addressing the gathered members of the Government, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov reminded that important international and state events are planned for the second half of the year. In particular, in September, the next meeting of the Halk Maslahaty will be held, at which a decision will be made to amend the country's Constitution.

The main national holidays – independence Day and the 25th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality-will be widely and solemnly celebrated. All managers are required to conduct these important events in a highly organized manner, according to the state news Agency of Turkmenistan.
