At an expanded session of the Government, the President of Turkmenistan instructed Deputy Prime Minister Chary Gylyjov, who oversees the trade and textile industries, as well as the business sector, to work out issues of increasing the production of export-oriented goods.
"Work on increasing the volume of production of consumer goods, in particular, in the agro – industrial complex is still slow," said Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. – No measures are being taken to provide state support to the private sector of the economy, financial and logistical assistance to small and medium-sized businesses. The development of supply chains of trade with the introduction of a digital system does not meet modern requirements."
In addition, the President of the country instructed the Deputy Prime Minister, together with the heads of relevant ministries and departments, to speed up the establishment of close economic ties with foreign partners, the state news Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
