In order to expand the range of non-cash payments, the State Bank of foreign economic activity has carried out work on introducing a new type of card "Milli VISA karty".
This was reported at a Government meeting today by Deputy Prime Minister G. Mushshikov, noting that the new type of card opens up wide opportunities for further development of the country's banking sector and connecting the national payment system to a modern international network.
Head of state Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stressed that the stable functioning of the national economic complex is a crucial factor in improving the competitiveness of the domestic economy and its integration into the world economic space. At the same time, the main tasks are to increase the number of banking products and bring them to the international level, as well as to introduce best practices and innovative technologies into the activities of specialized institutions.
The President ordered to step up work on the introduction of a new type of card "Milli VISA karty" and addressed specific instructions to the Deputy Prime Minister, the state news Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
