Ambassador extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan Toyly Komekov presented his credentials to the President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella. The corresponding ceremony was held in the Quirinal Palace – the official residence of the President of Italy, the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.
During the meeting, the Ambassador conveyed warm greetings and best wishes to the President of Italy on behalf of the head of Turkmenistan.
Expressing gratitude for the warm words, Sergio Mattarella, in turn, conveyed the warmest and friendliest greetings to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and best wishes for peace and prosperity to the people of Turkmenistan.
Toyly Komekov was appointed Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Italy in January this year. Previously, he served as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Kazakhstan.
