Opportunities for expanding trade and economic cooperation and consolidated efforts to overcome the COVID-19 pandemic and its socio-economic consequences were discussed today by foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and foreign Minister of Egypt Sameh Shukri.
During the conversation, the high level of political and diplomatic dialogue and the constructive nature of interaction on the platform of international organizations, in particular the UN, will be emphasized. Mutual interest was expressed in conducting inter-Ministerial consultations in an online format.
Discussing the topic of COVID-19, the foreign Ministers of the two countries noted the importance of using scientific, financial and other resources to resolve the current situation.
The diplomats also exchanged views on the development of cooperation in science, education and culture, the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.
