Azerbaijan increased imports from Turkmenistan, reports abc.az with reference to a state source.
For the period from January to May, the cost of imports from Turkmenistan amounted to $48 million 901 thousand.
The share of imports from Turkey also increased - $614 million 189 thousand and Iran - $116 million 321 thousand.
Turkey, Turkmenistan and Iran are the three member countries of the Organization of Islamic cooperation that imported the largest amount of products to Azerbaijan this year. Compared to last year's statistics, imports from Turkey and Turkmenistan increased significantly, but decreased from Iran.
