The implementation of the agreements reached during the last meeting of the joint Turkmen-Uzbek Commission on trade, economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation was discussed online today by the delegations of the two countries.
The Turkmen delegation at the talks was headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Vepa Hadjiev, and the Uzbek delegation was headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Ilhom Nematov.
During the consultations, they discussed the development of political and diplomatic dialogue between the two countries, and stressed the importance of regular contacts at the highest level. The diplomats voiced their mutual readiness to continue cooperation within the framework of international and regional structures. The two countries ' delegations also discussed prospects for cooperation in the energy and water sectors.
At the talks, a high level of cross-border cooperation was noted, taking into account the pandemic situation in the region, including the transport and communication sphere, and improving conditions for transport and transit transport.
