For the first time in Turkmenistan, it is proposed to organize distance methodological assistance to parents in preparing preschool children for school and distance education for citizens with disabilities. This was reported at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers by Deputy Prime Minister Purli Agamyradov in the context of a review of the work being done in the country to organize distance learning in the system of secondary and higher education, the state news Agency of Turkmenistan reports.

Currently, educational institutions that use digital communication technologies conduct remote training and various scientific conferences.

In the future, employees with secondary vocational education will be able to receive higher education on the basis of their profile specialty remotely. Remote technologies will also be widely used to improve the skills of specialists in various sectors of the economy.

In this regard, it is planned to prepare and introduce into national legislation new provisions on the use of distance learning technologies in specialized institutions.

"Innovations will not only improve the level of national education and expand interaction between specialized institutions of the country, but also establish links with foreign research and educational centers," the head of state noted and instructed to take appropriate measures to further introduce modern information and communication technologies.
