70 servicemen from Turkmenistan will participate in a military parade on red square, which will be held on June 24 in honor of the 75th anniversary of Victory in the great Patriotic war, CentralAsia.news reports, citing the website of the Russian Defense Ministry.

Military personnel from 12 other countries will also take part in the parade: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, China, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Mongolia, Serbia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

13 thousand military personnel, 234 units of ground military equipment will take part in the Grand March, 75 aircraft will fly over red square. The commander-in-chief of the Land forces, General of the army Oleg Salyukov, will command the parade.

Today and tomorrow on red square - rehearsals with the participation of equipment and parade calculations. On June 20, the dress rehearsal will take place.

Earlier, the Kremlin press service reported that President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov confirmed his participation in the Victory parade.

Recall that due to the COVID-19 coronavirus infection, the Victory parade on May 9 was moved to June 24 - the day of the first historical victory parade held on red square in 1945.
