The Asian Development Bank held an online consultation of the national coordinators of the program "Regional economic cooperation in Central Asia (cares)", in which the leadership of the Ministry of Finance and economy participated from the Turkmen side.
The main purpose of the meeting was to take stock of the current situation and discuss the economic impact of the pandemic in the cares countries, provide updated information on the ADB's response to the pandemic, evaluate the activities and results of the cares program, and identify and agree on necessary changes.
The participants were familiarized with the projects of the CAREC program in the field of economy, trade, energy, tourism, economic corridors, as well as measures undertaken by the Asian Development Bank in response to СОVID -19 health, the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
