Work on the creation of automated electronic information databases in ministries and departments, velayat and city hyakimliks of Turkmenistan is planned to be completed by the end of 2022. This was stated today at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers by Deputy Prime Minister for the industrial and communication complex Bayramgeldi Ovezov.
After hearing the report, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stressed that ensuring universal availability of IT services is one of the key tasks of digitalization. Special emphasis was placed on the importance of strengthening the material and technical base of the Agency "Turkmenaragatnashyk" and training specialists in this area, improving their skills. Entrepreneurs who have the right to carry out activities in this sphere should also be actively involved in creating a system of automated electronic information bases, the head of state noted, according to the state news Agency of Turkmenistan.
