For foreign currency, representatives of business circles from Russia purchased polypropylene produced at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries, and Afghanistan and Belize – heavy vacuum gas oil produced at the Seydi refinery. High-density polyethylene, polypropylene and ECO 93 gasoline (SC “Turkmengaz”) became the subject of transactions between entrepreneurs from the Russian Federation, the United Arab Emirates, and Afghanistan.
In addition, cotton yarn and colorless sheet glass were sold for foreign currency. Buyer countries: Russia, UAE, Great Britain, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Georgia. The total amount of transactions exceeded 31 million 352 thousand US dollars.
Entrepreneurs from the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, Belize, Hong Kong, and Afghanistan purchased cotton yarn and hand-made carpet products for a total of more than 10 million 184 thousand manats.
On the domestic market, domestic businessmen purchased polyethylene and polypropylene (SC "Turkmengaz"), as well as cotton fiber and cotton lint. The total amount of transactions was over 139 million 596 thousand manats.
