Residents of remote villages of the Akhal velayat received access to mobile communications powered by solar energy

In a number of remote villages of the Akhal velayat, mobile communication stations powered by solar energy have been installed. Now mobile communication has become available to residents of the settlements of Churchura, Gujurly and Gyzylsakgal, village Bokurdak etrap Ak bugday, according to the Turkmenistan:

Settlements located in the desert 150 kilometers from the velayat center. In the near future, two more localities of etrap will have access to mobile communications. New equipment and mast agriculture in a planned manner will be mounted in Kaka etrap: Mehinli the village and the village Kyrkguyy.

In the desert areas of Garagum, specialists from Altyn Asyr have already put into operation a number of base stations that run on electric energy received from the sun. Previously, such installations were installed in The Ak bugday etrap of the Akhal velayat. Now stable communication is provided by the inhabitants of several villages: Kugurtly, Bukury, Sakarchage, Sozenli.

The national mobile operator plans to significantly increase the level of information and communication technology equipment for the population of remote territories. For this purpose, European telecommunications equipment has been purchased, which allows us to offer high-quality communication services to the rural population, as well as channels for connecting to the Internet.

Altyn Asyr plans to install another 50 sets of receiving and transmitting equipment in rural areas by the end of the year, which, along with voice communication, will provide high-speed Internet services. The national operator intends to reach full and universal provision of this type of communication to the population of Turkmenistan: in rural areas - 3G generation, in velayat centers - 4G.

Since the beginning of this year, 75 base stations with expanded capabilities have already been installed in the villages of the Akhal, Mary and Lebap velayats.
