Turkmenistan was represented at the exhibition of the Museum “Garden of peace”

The national exposition of Turkmenistan was presented in the Beijing Museum "Garden of peace" as part of the exhibition for the International day of museums and under the auspices of the Chinese peace Foundation.

The ideological concept of the Turkmen stand was the motto of this year "Turkmenistan is the homeland of Neutrality", and the background of the exhibition is a banner with the national emblem of the year. The works of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov devoted to the history and modern achievements of the country, historical, cultural and spiritual values of the Turkmen people took pride of place in the exhibition section.at the request of the Chinese side, they will be transferred to the Museum's library after the exhibition.

Decorative and applied arts, textiles, photo illustrations, and publishing products were also presented. The gastronomic presentation introduced the best dishes of Turkmen cuisine

The video message of the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the exhibition participants was included in the online collection of presentations "Museums for equality: diversity and engagement".

In his speech, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the people's Republic of China Parahat Durdyev highlighted in detail the multifaceted activities of museums in our country, which conduct active research and educational work. The international online audience was presented the tourist and recreational potential of our state, heard a story about the unique archaeological sites included in the UNESCO world heritage List, as well as the natural pearls of the Turkmen land. At the end of his address, the Ambassador focused on the topic of the 25th anniversary of Turkmenistan's neutrality, briefly introducing the key characteristics and principles of the neutral legal status.

Sharing his impressions of the stand of Turkmenistan, Chairman of the Chinese peace Foundation Li Ruohong expressed gratitude for the opportunity to get acquainted with the magnificent works of hand-made carpet weaving. Noting the high quality and export potential of textile products, he also expressed admiration for the beauty and grace of Akhal-Teke horses, which have become a standard of beauty in Chinese culture.

Mr. Li Ruohong particularly thanked the Embassy of Turkmenistan in China for providing video and photo materials that give a detailed idea of the large-scale achievements in various industries, the huge resource and scientific and technical potential of our country. In this regard, the importance of developing interstate cooperation was emphasized.

The Beijing international Foundation for the culture of peace, the Chinese Association for friendship with foreign countries and other public organizations also participated in the organization of the exhibition, according to the publication Turkmenistan: Golden age.
