An educational seminar dedicated to the International Olympic day was held in the conference hall of the capital's specialized Chess and draughts school with the participation of leading Turkmen specialists in the field of sports. This is reported by the newspaper "Neutral Turkmenistan".
The educational seminar brought together leading specialists of the National Olympic Committee(NOC), the Ministry of sports and youth policy of Turkmenistan, qualified mentors and leading athletes. the participants were shown a video presentation by IOC President Thomas Bach on the development of the world Olympic movement, as well as a speech by an associate Professor of the Department of the Russian Olympic Academy on the topic of enduring Olympic values.
In addition, there was a presentation of a new book by the NOC of Turkmenistan "Philosophy of Olympism", which was presented by the author Annamuhammet Serhenov. The publication describes the work of the National Olympic Committee, which is aimed at the systematic development of high-performance sports in our country. Representatives of the National anti-doping Agency presented their concept of work in terms of combating the use of prohibited drugs in sports.
