Comprehensive measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection, including targeted research, development of effective medicines and vaccines, as well as the exchange of best practices, were discussed between representatives of scientific structures and specialized institutions of Turkmenistan and Japan during the last videoconference.
As you know, from the first days of the threat of a pandemic, our country has been advocating the consolidation of common efforts and the development of coordinated actions to combat the spread of a new type of coronavirus.
Participants of the videoconference noted that there is a great potential for the development of fruitful cooperation between scientific institutes and institutions of the health sector of Turkmenistan and Japan in the current areas of modern medicine, as well as in the training of qualified specialists, the state news Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
