Today, the railway administrations of Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Iran discussed issues of enhancing cooperation mechanisms in the field of transportation and transit of rail and road cargo across the state borders of the three countries.
The negotiations were attended by the heads of the Agency “Turkmendemiryollary", JSC “Uzbekistan Temir Yullari " and Rai Railways of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The parties also discussed issues related to the uninterrupted supply of goods, including coordinated actions of the parties to ensure food security, the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.
