The “Turkmenairlines” Agency will purchase “Ansat” and “Mi-17-1B” ambulance helicopters from Russia.
According to information on the official website of the Agency, in accordance with the decree of the President of Turkmenistan on March 31, 2020, the Agency “Turkmenairlines” signed contracts with PJSC "Kazan helicopter plant" (Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation) for the purchase of one “Ansat” helicopter and one “Mi-17-1B” helicopter intended for emergency medical care.
Delivery of these helicopters is scheduled for March 2021. These models are equipped with modern medical equipment and adapted to the conditions of Turkmenistan.
Recall that on April 6, 2020, a video conference was held between the management of Kazan helicopter plant and representatives of the Agency “Turkmenairlines” on the acquisition of “Ansat” and “Mi-17-1B” helicopters. During the videoconference, the parties determined further steps to implement the projects in accordance with the terms of the concluded contracts.
