The oil and gas complex of Turkmenistan summed up the work of its enterprises for four months

The results of the work of enterprises in the oil and gas industry of Turkmenistan for four months of this year were considered at the reporting meeting chaired by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Myratgeldi Meredov, the publication "Oil and gas of Turkmenistan" reports.

Reports on the work performed by the Minister, Chairman of the State concern "Turkmengaz" M. Archaev, President SC "Turkmennebit" G. Baygeldiev, Chairman of the State Corporation "Turkmengeologiya" Sh. Abdyrahmanov, General Director of the “Turkmenbashi oil refinery” B. Amanov, as well as heads of departments and enterprises of the complex.

The meeting discussed the current tasks set by the head of state for the future of the oil and gas industry of Turkmenistan. In particular, they relate to the introduction of modern digital technologies, improvement of fuel and energy complex of the country, implementation of major investment projects, and enhance international cooperation in the energy sector, a further increase of production volumes "blue fuel".

Special attention was focused on the consistent increase in complex works at the Galkynysh, Dovletabat, Uzynada, Goturdepe fields, as well as work in the field of development of new wells, increasing the productivity of existing fields, attracting investment.

It was also noted that there is a need to increase the volume of production and processing of hydrocarbon resources, as well as to modernize production facilities and infrastructure in the industry as a whole.

During the meeting, it was reported about improving the production skills of specialists in the gasification of new settlements, which is carried out within the framework of the national program to transform the social and living conditions of the population of villages, towns, cities and etrap centers for the period up to 2020.

The issue of the construction of the Turkmen section of the strategically important transnational Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) pipeline was considered.

The results of research and design and survey work carried out by specialists of the natural gas Research Institute of the SC “Turkmengaz” and the “Nebitgazylmytaslama” Institute of the SC “Turkmennebit” were also announced.
