A consultation meeting in the format of a videoconference was held today in Ashgabat with representatives of the United Nations educational, scientific and cultural Organization (UNESCO).
The Turkmen side was represented at the talks by employees of the ministries of foreign Affairs, education, Finance and economy, as well as the State Statistics Committee.
During the online meeting, special emphasis was placed on the implementation and monitoring of the SDG in Turkmenistan, in particular on Sustainable Development goal 4 – ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education, equality and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all.
The education system of Turkmenistan is undergoing major reforms aimed at improving the quality of education and improving the conditions for students. International standards of training and informatization are being implemented, the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.
