Turkmenistan and Israel held Inter-Ministerial consultations

Turkmen-Israeli Inter-Ministry consultations were held today in the country's foreign Ministry. They were held in the format of a video conference.

The Turkmen delegation at the talks was headed by the country's Deputy Foreign Minister, and the Israeli delegation was headed by the Deputy Director General of the foreign Ministry, head of the Department of Euro – Asia and the Balkans, Geri Koren.

The parties noted the constructive nature of cooperation between the two countries. They discussed the development of political and diplomatic dialogue and interaction within international organizations, primarily with the United Nations. The importance of regular contacts for discussing promising cooperation tasks was emphasized.

The participants discussed opportunities for strengthening economic partnership between the two countries, increase of mutual trade volumes.

The agricultural sector, healthcare, and innovation were identified as priority areas of bilateral cooperation. The sides also discussed the expansion of the dialogue in the humanitarian sphere, the state news Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
