The photo exhibition dedicated to the heroic generation of winners in the battle against fascism is a joint project of the news agencies of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
The exhibition of 90 photographs is presented on the eve of the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the great Patriotic war.
Every year those who forged the Great Victory become fewer and fewer. And therefore all the more valuable is the photo evidence about that difficult time, about the hardships that they endured with dignity, courage and everyday feats.
This year, the coronavirus pandemic has made its own adjustments to the celebration of Victory Day, but we are United by a common history and common memory, and this photo exhibition is a visible confirmation of this, the website "Turkmenistan: The Golden age" reports.
