In the administrative center of the etrap named after S. A. Niyazov of Dashoguz velayat in the hall of the House of culture, a solemn ceremony was held honoring and awarding a group of veterans, home front workers, widows of war participants with the jubilee medal "To the 75th anniversary of Victory in the great Patriotic war of 1941-1945" and handing them memorable gifts on behalf of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. This is reported by today's issue of the newspaper "Neutral Turkmenistan".
The ceremony was attended by representatives of the etrap hyakim’s, etrap military Commissariat, party and public organizations, education and health workers, elders, and youth.
The speakers warmly congratulated the veterans of labor who worked in the rear during the great Patriotic war and brought the long-awaited Victory closer. The glorious workers of the invisible front forged Victory over fascism in the rear, on the Turkmen land – far from the firing line. Working selflessly, with full dedication of forces and energy, they worked tirelessly, overcame all difficulties during the years of military hard times, and honorably fulfilled their civil duty to the Fatherland.
The solemn event ended with bright song and music performances prepared by creative teams of the cultural center of etrap named after S. A. Niyazov of the Department of culture of Dashoguz velayat, professional and Amateur artists.
