Issues of technical and technological modernization of the agro-industrial complex were discussed at a meeting via video link with representatives of the company "John Deere International GmbH", which was held at the State Bank for foreign economic activity with the participation of employees of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The parties noted with satisfaction the fruitful nature of cooperation between Turkmenistan and one of the world's leading manufacturers of agricultural machinery.
An example of this is the agreements and contracts concluded in recent years for the supply of large quantities of grain and cotton harvesters, tractors, seeders and other special equipment. A new vector of partnership with the company "John Deere Walldorf GmbH & Co. KG" (Germany) is the introduction of a digital electronic control system in agricultural machinery and equipment in the agricultural industry, which will be implemented in stages in the period 2020-2030.
Modern samples of agricultural machinery and equipment "John Deere" can now be purchased by representatives of private businesses at the expense of a Bank loan. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the corresponding Decree in January of this year in order to provide state financial support to entrepreneurs.
This document also provides for the conclusion of a loan agreement between the State Bank for foreign economic activity and the company " Deere Credit Inc. "(USA) to Finance 85 percent of the cost of agricultural machinery and equipment purchased by entrepreneurs – individuals and legal entities – from the company "John Deere Walldorf GmbH & Co.KG".
During the meeting, foreign partners expressed their readiness to expand the spheres of interaction, the state news Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
