Today, the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted a Turkmen-German working meeting, which was attended by representatives of the Ministry of foreign Affairs, the Ministry of agriculture and environmental protection, the state water management Committee of Turkmenistan and the Ambassador extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to Turkmenistan, Mr. Nighthart Hefer-Vissing.
The parties noted with satisfaction the rapidly developing bilateral partnership between Turkmenistan and Germany, in particular, in the field of environmental protection and agriculture.
The meeting reviewed the effectiveness of the long-term project "European Union-Central Asia: cooperation in the field of environment and climate change" and discussed further promotion of Turkmenistan's proposals within the framework of the "Green Central Asia" initiative, the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.
