On the first day of the month of Oraza, the President of Turkmenistan gave “sadaka-agzachar” in the capital's mosque of the Mir-7 residential area, which was opened in September 2018.

The architectural appearance of the spiritual temple, the total area of which is more than 13 thousand square meters, meets the best traditions of national architecture and modern trends in this area.

Here, on the territory of the mosque, the head of state spoke with the elders, thanking them for their active participation in events of great importance in the life of society and the state.

Expressing gratitude to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for his constant concern for the well-being of his native people and the preservation of the cultural and spiritual heritage of the nation, the elders wished him good health, longevity and new success in his activities for the prosperity of the country.

At the end of the conversation, the head of state together with the elders went to the mosque. In the spiritual temple, in a special glass capsule, there is a sacred teperrik, which was given as a gift to the President of Turkmenistan during the Hajj to Mecca. As you know, it is displayed in all mosques in the country. There is also a sacred canvas with the Kaaba inscription inscribed on it, sent to the Turkmen leader as a memorial gift from Mecca.

The participants knelt before teperrik and sacred cloth. Then the Imam of the mosque acquainted the President of the country with the features of the spiritual temple, the artistic decor, and also spoke about the meaning of the sacred inscriptions that adorn the vaults.

The main parameters of the minaret, the Central and small domes, which are 63, 40 and 23 meters high, are symbolic. Each of these numbers is associated with the name of the prophet Muhammad and indicates the years of his life, the age when God sent down his revelations, and the period of prophetic activity.

The complex includes a special building for Sadaka, ritual ceremonies, and Parking. The interior decoration is original. When finishing the interior, only noble materials are used – marble, granite, valuable wood species. A special place in the decoration of the mosque is occupied by relief epigraphy containing surah of the Koran. They also adorn its white marble facades. The prayer hall is designed for three thousand believers.

In a specially designed building, the head of state gave sadaka at the expense of royalties for the works he created, addressing the audience before the meal.

The Turkmen leader expressed his wish that the fasting observed in the Holy month of Oraza and the good prayers offered up should be accepted by the Almighty.
