The book of the President of Turkmenistan "Horse – a symbol of loyalty and happiness" in foreign languages was presented in Lebap

Today, the conference hall of the Lebap velayat library hosted a presentation of the book of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov "The Horse is a symbol of loyalty and happiness" published in German, Turkish and Arabic, the state news Agency of Turkmenistan reports.

The event was attended by members of the Government, heads of the Mejlis, ministries and departments, media representatives, as well as numerous guests, including Ambassador extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany Naythart Hofer-Vissing, Ambassador extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey Togan Oral, charge d'affaires of the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Turkmenistan Abdulaziz Al Hashimi.

The diplomats noted that the work of the Turkmen leader aroused great interest among the readers of the countries they represent. This gives them an opportunity to get acquainted with the history and current high level of breeding of Akhal-Teke horses, learn a lot about the stages of horse breeding development in Turkmenistan.

Katerina-Irena Jakob, member of the international Association of Akhal-Teke horse breeding, Director of the horse breeding company "Jeýkob Ferdezuçt GBR" of the Federal Republic of Germany, made a video presentation. She spoke about how the establishment of this Association contributed to a wide study of the experience of Turkmen horse breeders in raising horses of the Akhal-Teke breed that are incomparable in beauty and endurance. This has played a major role in breeding and increasing the number of "Paradise" horses outside of Turkmenistan, including in Germany.

The library's foyer displayed works by President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, as well as an exhibition of artifacts discovered during archaeological excavations in the spring of 2020 in the Akhal and Lebap velayats.

Among the exhibits – glazed ceramic statuette of a rider on a saddled horse; the bottom of a ceramic vessel fragment with well-preserved murals depicting the head of a horse; fragment of wall of large vessel with impressions with a stylized image of a galloping horse and terracotta figure of a horse.
