Private enterprises of Turkmenistan "Datly sherbet" and "SAFA" were granted a loan of $ 9.5 million from the European Bank for reconstruction and development. This is reported by SNG.Today with reference to the project document approved by the EBRD.

Mary confectionery manufacturer IE "Datly sherbet" will receive $ 8 million as a long-term loan for the purchase of new equipment and expansion of export potential. The company plans to expand its product line by 2023 and export 20% of its products.

The manufacturer of polyethylene and polypropylene packaging IE "SAFA" will receive 1.5 million dollars from the EBRD, which will buy the latest equipment to ensure the environmental safety of its products.

By the way, “Datly sherbet” is a part of the “Taze Ay” group of companies. Recall that among the well-known investment projects of the EBRD in Turkmenistan is the expansion of the family business of the Mary company "Taze Ay", which is actively working in the meat, sausage and confectionery sectors, which since 2013 has been able to expand the production of meat and sausage, increase the output of halal meat, purchase new equipment for confectionery and bakery products, get an internationally recognized quality certification and start exporting.
