The Department of digital economy development has been created under the state telecommunications company "Turkmentelecom", the website "Turkmenistan: Golden age" reports.
The new authorized body has four departments: design and technical control, development of legal acts, control over the implementation of government decisions on the development of the digital economy, as well as control over the introduction of information and communication technologies.
According to information management experts are developing a legislative platform guiding the creation of a unified database of digital data for individuals, and coordinate complex work on introduction of electronic document flow, improvement of the infrastructure of the digital economy, training. In fact, a "road map" of measures aimed at creating a platform for integrated digital transformation, taking into account the needs of the state and society, as well as the introduction of the latest information and telecommunications technologies is being developed.
