President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received today congratulatory messages on the occasion of the international day of Novruz, the press service of the head of state reported.

"On behalf of the Turkish people and on my own behalf, I cordially congratulate Your Excellency and the fraternal Turkmen people on Novruz Bayrami – the harbinger of spring, symbolizing peace, abundance, unity and being an integral part of our common thousand-year-old ancestral traditions and customs.

The Novruz holiday, which calls all mankind to peace, love and brotherhood, is widely and solemnly celebrated everywhere. I sincerely wish that Novruz will bring peace and prosperity not only to our countries and the region, but also to the whole world," the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan said in his congratulation.

"Novruz is a traditional life-affirming holiday, a Herald of love and good morals, a time of renewal of nature, inexhaustible grace sent down by the Almighty.

This year, Novruz, unfortunately, coincided with an epidemic of coronavirus that has spread to many countries, including Iran. Mutual assistance in the fight against the pandemic is the right and natural desire of our countries to ensure the well – being of the population.

I pray to God to send prosperity and success to Your Excellency, and happiness to the friendly and fraternal people of Turkmenistan," President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Hassan Rouhani addresses his good wishes.
"It gives me great pleasure, on behalf of the people of Palestine and on my own behalf, to cordially congratulate Your Excellency and the fraternal Turkmen people on the Novruz holiday.

I pray to Almighty Allah to send further success and progress to Your Excellency and the people of Turkmenistan. Please accept my best wishes for your health, happiness and success," the message from the President of the state of Palestine, Mahmoud Abbas, reads.

The ancient and ever-young holiday, which represents the renewal and harmony of nature, testifies to the common history of our peoples and helps to strengthen the ties of lasting friendship, good-neighborliness and mutual understanding.

In this context, I would like to emphasize that we are deeply satisfied with the activation of Uzbek-Turkmen relations in recent years, which allows us to achieve concrete results in almost all areas of cooperation.

We are interested in the fact that the interaction brought to the level of strategic partnership by our joint efforts has steadily developed for the benefit of ensuring General stability and well-being in the region.

On these bright and auspicious days, I wish you and your family strong health and happiness, great success in your responsible state activities, and peace, progress and achievement of new heights to the fraternal people of Turkmenistan," President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev addresses his congratulations.

"Let Novruz bayrami, symbolizing the spring equinox and the rebirth of nature, bring prosperity and abundance to our peoples. I am deeply convinced that mutually beneficial cooperation and strategic partnership between Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan will continue to develop on the basis of friendship and trust.

Dear Gurbanguly Myalikgulyevich, I wish you good health, prosperity and new successes in your state activities, and peace and prosperity to the people of Turkmenistan," the letter of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov reads.

"It is with great pleasure that I Express my best wishes and sincere congratulations to You and all the friendly people of Turkmenistan on the occasion of the international day of Novruz.

Novruz Bayrami, as an ancient common cultural heritage, serves to bring our fraternal peoples closer together, strengthening the bonds of friendship, mutual respect, trust, solidarity and cooperation.
